Nasugbu Church

                                                       Saint Francis Xavier Parish of Nasugbu, Batangas, is a growing and thriving Christian community. We are a parish strongly united by our steadfast faith in God and in His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. It is our calling to serve our brothers and sisters with humility, gladness, and love. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit and strength from prayer and the Holy Sacraments, we are a Church committed to the message and example of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ: instructing, preaching, healing, and ministering to all people. Through the intercession of our patron, Saint Francis Xavier, we bring the Gospel of Christ to those who do not know Him. With the perpetual help of our patroness, Nuestra Senora Virgen de la Escalera, we strive to lead holy lives in immitation of her.  

The seal of the Parish of St. Francis Xavier in Latin reads "Euntes ergo docete omnes gentes" - go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations. The wooden cross symbolizes Christ anchored firmly in the church of Nasugbu. The cross also symbolizes St. Francis Xavier's missionary zeal in spreading the Gospel. The IHS recalls the foundation of our parish by the Jesuit missionaries whose symbol is the Holy Name of Jesus (IHS/JHS). The baptismal shell recalls St. Francis Xavier's baptizing numerous souls. The three drops of water recall the Holy Trinity in baptism. The staircase symbolizes Nuestra Senora Virgen de la Escalera, as do the Morning Star, and the Tower. Nasugbu's bay as well as its beautiful hills is also represented here.

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of time. Matthew 29: 19-20

        It is our fervent desire to keep all our parishioners at home in Nasugbu and those abroad updated with our parish activities and our church construction effort. We hope that you benefit spiritually from our website and will share it with others. To God be the Glory! Amen!

Ama naming Mapagmahal, tinawag po Ninyo kami kay Jesu-Kristo upang maging mga sambayanan ng mga taong may kaganapan ng buhay sa sanlibutan. Sumasaksi sa Inyong Paghahari. Sa pagsasabuhay ng Misteryo Paskuwal. Sa kapangyarihan ng Espiritu Santo.

Puspusin po Ninyo ng Inyong Banal na Espiritu ang aming buong Arsidiyosesis sa pamamagitan ng aming mga obispo, kaparian, mga madre, at mga laykong bumubuo ng aming mga parokya at lalawigan upang makatugon sa Inyong banal na kalooban at sa aming ipinahayag na mga pangangailangan.

Pasihan po Ninyo kami ng katatagang loob upang mapagtagumpayan namin ang anumang magiging hadlang sa pagsasabuhay ng Aral-Batangueno.

Pagtibayin po Ninyo ang pagtatalaga ng aming sarili sa iisang pananaw na aming binabalangkas. Buksan po Ninyo ang aming kaisipan sa katotohanang ang Inyong Anak na si Jesus ang mag-aakay sa amin sa pagsasabuhay ng Inyong Banal na Salita.

Sa tulong at halimbawa, panalangin, at pangangalaga ng aming Patrong si San Jose, at ng aming Mahal na Inang si Maria, nawa'y manatili po sa aming ang Inyong kaningningang di magmamaliw sa buong panahon ng aming sama-samang pagsasabuhay ng Aral-Batangueno. Amen.
