On February 12, our parish hosted a pilgrimage for the exposition and veneration of the holy relics of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus. Relics are remains of holy men and women and deserve our respect and reverence. A Welcome Mass for Saint Therese took place at 7:00 PM and her relics remained at Saint Francis Xavier Church until the next morning.

The holy relics of Saint Francis Xavier and of Saint Vincent Ferrer, O.P. were also exposed and venerated along with the holy relic of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus. These three saints are all Patrons of Missionaries! One is a Jesuit, one is a Dominican, and one is a Carmelite. Each in his/her own way have contributed greatly to the commission of Jesus to evangelize the world.

The faithful who made this Pilgrimage were granted a Plenary Indulgence. Saint Francis Xavier Church has been declared a Jubilee Church, and as such, merits this great honor of granting indulgences.
